T-Bone Steak

another home-cooked food - one of my favorites - steak!
as they say, practice makes perfect. after watching the video from jamie oliver on utube on how to cook a steak and preparations as well, did not waste my time and immediately tried it too.
after rinsing the steaks, dried, massage with olive oil, salt, pepper, and the secret ingredient, we, did it!
do you love to cook too? what's your favorite dish?

Coffee - anyone?

One of the many things that I enjoy – sits on a couch, sips a coffee, and chats with good friends. Talk about anything and everything – it’s just so refreshing and recharging. Best of all, you can do this at your own place/house with no hassle – a simple pleasure yet priceless!

Go and grab a coffee with your loved ones!

in-house: street food on a rainy day

two weeks ago, Philippines was visited again by another typhoon named “miring” and left some homes in devastating situation. it was also the first time that our barrio got flooded ever in the history. and on a lighter note, it was also the opportunity for us to make the best out of it. my sister and i decided to experiment a new sauce on a weekend, and how fortunately that my older sister bought kikiam (quekiam) and fishball. i cooked the sauce with a new recipe and my sister took over in prepping the fishballs and kikiam.
notice that the sauce they use in the street tastes different when you cook your own – it has this unique blend of spices that wanting you to get more!

that was the goal – to have the exact or even a better taste! guess what, we finally perfected the sauce! i, myself loved it!
